1월 세미나 안내: 2021년 미국 하반기 경제 전망
미국 경제가 불확실한 상황에 있습니다.
최근 코로나 바이러스 확산세에 행동 제한 조치도 계속되고 있습니다. 백신 접종 비율도 향후 얼마나 늘어날지 불확실합니다.
이같은 상황에서 미 채권 수익률이 인상되는 등 인플레이션 조짐마저 보이고 있어, 연중의 저금리 정책 완화 시점이 당겨질 가능성도 있습니다.
미 생산활동과 주택 경기는 회복단계에 들어서 있지만 업종별 회복세가 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 특히 실업률 개선이 불확실한 상황입니다.
이에 따라 미국 경제 전문가인 S&P Global 의 선임 이코노미스트를 초청해 향후 전망을 살펴보는 세미나를 개최합니다. 많은 참석 바라겠습니다.

Dr. Beth Ann Bovino: the U.S. Chief Economist at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services
She develops S&P’s U.S. economic forecasts and authors the monthly U.S. Economic Forecast, the quarterly U.S. Risks To The Forecast, the weekly Financial Notes and the Weekly Economics Call. Before joining Standard & Poor’s in February 2004, Beth Ann spent over ten years doing economic and market research with Sungard Institutional Brokerage, UBS Warburg, and the Federal Reserve. Beth Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University.
